Transiting Mars enters Virgo

Tuesday, June 17 - Wednesday, August 6, 2025

The main thing I want everyone to take away from this, is that - especially during the first 10 days of this transit - it’s an excellent time to start building our skills (Virgo) with Mars’ stuff. If we can take a disciplined, patient approach, always building on our progress, we’ll have so much to show for it come August.

Mars in Virgo can be Mars on a health kick, or Mars as Mr. Fix-It. Knowing our own personal Mars weakness is usually pretty easy (it’s the most straightforward planet). So let’s work on that!

Most of the problems we run into with Mars in this sign, are the same as with Mars in any other Mutable sign: distractability, scattering our efforts, and good old commitment-phobia.

Physical strength - focusing on a fitness regimen which emphasizes flexibility is ideal. We’re looking to become healthier, not necessarily body builders.

Energy levels - can fluctuate; I think wrapping our heads around that truth, and learning to work with it, can be useful. If you’re too tired out, who else can get it done?

Sexuality - don’t know how you all feel, but finding someone who’s detail-oriented and precise in this department, would be heavenly.

How we go after what we want - always a plan! Or several plans; or a very detailed, scripted, careful plan. Can be excellent for learning more and better strategies. Maybe download a chess app?!

This is the situation which sets up the entire transit. There are a couple of things going on. First, Mars is the apex of a Yod, inconjunct Saturn and Neptune in Aries, and Pluto Rx/Aquarius. Events in the wider world force us into new/different ways of acting (Mars).

The second thing is Mars at the midpoint of a trine between the Sun and Jupiter in Cancer, and Vesta in Scorpio - energy just begging to be dedicated to something. Part of this process of honing a more skillful Mars, should be directed at building better boundaries.

Transiting Mars enters Virgo

I have always had a soft spot for this transit and its “sexy technician” vibes. This Mars also has an agenda (usually); instead of impulsively lashing out at everything, it recognizes that some planning is helpful.

Physical strength - this is tricky. Virgo isn’t a particularly muscle-bound sign, but its concern with health can make Mars want to be stronger, thinking to be more effective through physical strength.

Energy levels - as with all the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces) energy levels are prone to fluctuate. It’s important to remember to rest, eat sensibly, and hydrate. We usually want to do too much at once.

Sexuality - detail-oriented. Heh heh heh. Sometimes there are hangups to be addressed; sometimes sex is seen as a body-function thing (like blowing your nose, or peeing), and not as procreation or as interpersonal bonding.

these are written predominantly for the *rising* signs but they are also intuitively "channeled" enough that they should work for any dominant energy you have! aries: your ruling planet mars is set to move into virgo and the solstice approaches. focus is the name of the game, although obsession will be tempting. detailed work is great, and take enough breaks that you don't let it become mentally (or otherwise!) exhausting.

taurus: it is a good time to be a taurus. you have strength granted to you in your creative endeavors, romances, local community and neighborhood, and perhaps even a boost of energy for the body if you have been tired lately. and who hasn't!

gemini: we are in, certainly, what is a 12th house period for you. do shadow work and rest; do not put yourself in situations that could be mentally or physically dangerous to you. but when care is needed, seek it (a doctor, hospital, counselor, etc.) strengthen your mind and spirit by strengthening your home/physical house, even if they don't seem obviously connected. but we also have a 2nd house period at hand and you become magically savvy with money.

cancerians: your season is at hand! better than usual, even, with jolly jupiter and mercury along for the ride and not to mention plenty of other strengths in the placements at this time. the one big caveat for the sign of the crab is to remember to put on your oxygen mask first - but even this should be easier than usual for now.

leo: you've gotten more action from mars than usual due to his retrograde period earlier this year. now he leaves your sign for virgo. that's not the best news ever for your energy levels necessarily, but it's great news in terms of money and resources. a little effort and attention to detail goes quite a long way. your 12th house is also active so do shadow work and seek spiritual support if you realize you need it. it's not the best time to isolate if it can be helped, although in some ways it may feel forced.

virgo: the big news for you in this week is that mars enters your sign after an extended trek through cancer and leo. if you need to knuckle down and work, this helps a LOT. but do not let it drive you too far or too deep. you still have to do self care and not even the fun bubble bath kind but like, making sure you ate something, and not something that made you sick, and brushing your teeth etc.

libra: if you are shying away from the limelight you are doing the world a disservice. there is not much else to say about it this week. you may have some relationship struggles but they are so mild, and made up for by the benefics doing benefic things. allow yourself to be seen.

scorpio: this is a beneficial week in mostly background/unseen/small ways but you can help that along by having adventures of any kind and/or deep study. honesty and integrity also get bonus points this week (and for the next like, year.)

sagittarius: although you have but a few things in common with cancerians, your ruling planet jupiter exalted there presently and the sun gearing up for a solstice make this a lucky time for you and in particular for your cancer-ruled eighth house. an inheritance comes in or a gambling win or some real estate victory, or perhaps new levels of intimacy (in the broad sense of the word) are achieved. it's okay to be a little soft and have a good time as long as you are not gambling *too* much. some risk aversion is healthy but adventure is auspicious.

aquarius: astrology vibes at the moment are nearly indisputably good but the fact remains it's a little bit of a weird situation for aquarians, elementally. focus on daily life if things seem a little too awkward - routines, rituals, and one moment at a time, one step at a time.

The Main Synastry Overlays & Aspects That Drove My Attraction to Approaching and Speaking to Random Women.

This year, I set myself a mission: to cold-approach every woman that I found attractive—no matter the setting, be it the gym, shopping, public transport, or elsewhere. If your energy drew me in, I wanted to talk to you.

After having established a connection, I’d then dive deeper and analyse our synastry through birth charts.

Here are the key trends I’ve noticed when it comes to attraction and astrology:

1st House Synastry (Time Stops Because We Stand Out)

Immediate and noticeable attraction. Walking into a room and noticing each other felt like entering a spotlight together—undeniable chemistry, as if we existed in our own bubble. We looked good together, Magnetic and undeniable chemistry. Sometimes a little Ego clashes.
